Content by Emily Gerdin
Emily Gerdin was raised in two faiths growing up (Judaism & Protestantism). Her interfaith upbringing inspired her to study how minds are shaped by religious worldviews. She is now a PhD candidate in developmental psychology at Yale University, studying how children conceive of religious groups as sometimes similar to other social categories in the world (e.g., race, gender, nationality) and sometimes very, very different.
