Dr. Vladik Kreinovich is Professor of Computer Science at University of Texas at El Paso.He received Ph.D. in Mathematics from Institute of Mathematics, Soviet Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, Russia in 1979. He has had more than 1500 publications in on the topics of interval computations, intelligent control (including fuzzy and neural approaches), and reasoning under uncertainty.

He is also a Member of Editorial Board, International Journal of Reliable Computing, a co-editor of several special issues of the International Journal of Interval Computations, a Member of the Program Committees of Conferences in Interval Computations, and the El Paso representative at the Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing.
