Laura Donnelly is the Assistant Director of the Critical Realism Network at Yale University, which fosters interdisciplinary scholarly research and programming initiatives in science, theology, and human flourishing. Laura received her undergraduate degree in systematic theology and classical philosophy at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. She then earned her master degrees from Emory University and Yale University studying philosophy, theology, and Islamic studies. Her research interests are primarily concerned with the big questions confronting contemporary societies, questions concerning the social preconditions of human flourishing, truth, justice, and freedom. In her current role, Laura combines her expertise in managing large research grants and program development with her research interests from a critical realist perspective by working with social scientists, theologians, anthropologists, and philosophers.
