Spirituality, Religious Communities and Climate Change – A Conversation with Joelle Novey

by

When faced with the question, “What do we do about climate change?” most people are looking for individual actions they can take. The problem is that the issue is so large and so abstract that we need solutions commensurate to the problem. This is where religious communities can help — by tapping into sacred values, giving space for difficult emotions, and opportunities to be role models, Interfaith Power and Light leverages the power of religious communities to tackle climate change.

Joelle Novey is the Director of Interfaith Power and Light for MD-DC-NoVA (Maryland-DC-North Virginia).
