In this talk, Jori Berger-Greenstein will be looking at what we know about the impact of engaging with devices and social media on brain activity and mental health. We’ll be considering the role of ritual and spiritual practice to help us navigate these challenges.
Jori Berger-Greenstein is a Professor of Psychiatry and Graduate Medical Sciences at Boston University. She focuses on clinical and research work in the area of HIV/AIDS, including primary and secondary prevention efforts. She teaches several courses in her program, including Counseling Techniques, Internship Supervision, Professional Orientation and Ethics, and Behavioral Medicine and Applied Health Psychology. She is active clinically, with her own private practice.
