Rabbi Dr. Joseph S. Ozarowski is an educator, prolific author, and board-certified chaplain. He serves as Rabbinic Counselor and Jewish Chaplaincy Services Chaplain for and is the immediate past president of the Chicago Board of Rabbis and currently serves as a national officer of Neshama: The Association of Jewish Chaplains. He is the author of To Walk in God’s Ways: Jewish Pastoral Perspectives on Illness and Bereavement.
Mindy Moline Botbol is the managing funeral director for Shalom Memorial Funeral Home in Arlington Heights. She is a past president of Jewish Funeral Directors of America. She is currently the president of Moriah Congregation in Deerfield and previously served as president of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism-Midwest Region and is a is a frequent speaker about Jewish funeral practices and advisor to local burial societies.
