The Origins of the Universe — How Do We Read Genesis 1 and 2?

Are the first few verses of Genesis meant to be taken literally? If not, how should we read it? And why? In this session, we’ll discuss how we can read the opening verses of Genesis in light of Big Bang cosmology, and what it means for us as people of both science and faith.
