Rabbi Yaakov Jaffe is the Rabbi of the Maimonides Kehillah in Brookline Massachusetts – the Minyan founded by the Rav, Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik, in the summer of 1963 – and a member of the faculty at the Maimonides School. He also serves as the Menahel of the Boston Rabbinical Court for Divorce and Conversion and is a member of the national advisory committee of the Jewish Agency for Israel’s National Bible Contest, the Chidon Hatanach. A doctoral candidate in Yeshiva University’s Azrieli graduate school of Jewish education, Rabbi Jaffe has authored numerous scholarly articles in such diverse topics as Jewish Prayer, Jewish Thought, Education, Medical Ethics, Bible and Jewish Law.
