All STEM professionals and other interested individuals are invited to join the STEM dinner at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County on Wednesday, January 17 at 6:30pm. This dinner is free for everyone courtesy of the Scientists in Synagogues grant that the STEM Affinity Group was awarded. No need to be a scientist to attend.
The speaker will be Art Fuchs, who will discuss Jewish Perspectives of the NASA Space Program. Art Fuchs is a retired executive at NASA. He is former Program Manager of the First Hubble Repair Mission, Associate Director of Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), and Director of Mission Operations and Data Systems at GSFC.
