Stay up late and learn! The theme of this year’s Tikkun is Wow in the World: Exploring Science, Scripture, Revelation and Realism.

This year’s Tikkun Leil Shavuot is part of our ongoing Scientists in Synagogues programming, aimed at promoting dialog about the intersection of science and Judaism. Scientists in Synagogues is sponsored by Sinai and Synapses, an organization jointly funded by Clal – The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

This special evening will include a pluralistic Ma’ariv service to mark the end of Shabbat and the beginning of Shavuot, dairy delights, and lots of learning with Rabbis and other scholars from around the Madison Jewish community. Presented by Beth Israel Center along with Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, Temple Beth El, UW Hillel, and Jewish Federation of Madison.
