On October 27th at 7:30 pm via ZOOM, Dr. Kevin Ladd will present the final program made possible by our grant from Scientists in Synagogues.

When we think and speak of ourselves, much of the attention centers on our mental beliefs and the language that we use to express those thoughts. Substantially less time is spent considering how actions and physical locations influence us on multiple levels, including spiritual experiences and awareness. By identifying some specific psychological principles, techniques, and tools that are related to the embodied experience of spirituality, this conversation hour calls to mind how bodies and surroundings can speak to and reveal our deeper selves.

Dr. Ladd is social psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Indiana South Bend. He conducts most of his research in the area of the psychology of religion. In particular he is interested in the topic of prayer.
