About this blog

Over the last several years, authors, scientists and even journalists have given us an “inside look” at our mental and emotional selves, providing a deeper understanding of who we are and why we act the way we do. Through the field of cognitive science, we can learn to better understand how we see ourselves, our world and our behavior.

And so “Sinai and Synapses” explores these connections between Judaism and cognitive science, taking a closer look at human nature — and even more importantly, how we can be better.
